Originally from the mountains of Western North Carolina, I started working in the restaurant industry when I was 17 years old. I knew it was something I wanted to do almost right away. After spending a few years in country clubs and fine dining resturants, I decided to head west to persue my Culinary Arts degree and graduated from Johnson and Wales University-Denver in 2004.
